  • At Hoa Mai Vietnamese Bilingual Preschool, we seek to welcome and honor the whole child in their pursuit of wonder, and discovering who they are in their community and the world. We believe children learn best in authentic and trusting relationships that respect and affirm each learner’s culture and identity. Our curriculum is child-centered, play-based, and facilitated by empowered teachers engaged in rigorous and reflective practice who learn alongside the children. We pay close attention to cultivating their self-esteem and their dispositions toward learning, risk-taking, socialization, and problem-solving.

Many of our teachers are fluent in both Vietnamese and English. Instruction is delivered in both languages based on our language model. Our program includes music, books, and hands-on engaging and fun materials in the classroom to make learning fun and interactive.

  • Our COVID policy is updated as the pandemic evolves. Currently, if a child has COVID the child will be isolated for 10 days. All children in the class will receive a PCR test. All children and staff wear masks. Further policies can be found in our family handbook.
